Reworked in design and functionality

When sufficient space is available, semi-underground systems offer many advantages compared to underground systems. The structure is less expensive and does not require a security system, since there is no open hole during emptying. As such, the total purchase cost is lower. Since our half-undergroundsystems are highly requested we gathered all our experience as the leading supplier and reworked our systems to improve them to the maximum. The result is SEMIMAX 1 with a hood of LDPE and SEMIMAX 2 with a steel hood. Both hoods can be interchange very quickly and easily.

With more than 50,000 smoothly functioning units across Europe, SULO‘s ICEBERG underground system is the benchmark for clean and efficient waste management. At a container volume of 5 m³, the content of about 20 household waste bins disappear in the underground. On average, only 1/3 of the area of conventional container zones is needed. This opens up exciting design space for planners, while residents enjoy additional space, hygiene and safety.
